Google Earth VR Update brings Street View Option
In the normal version, Google Earth offers the possibility to view streets in a 360-degree view. This is now also possible in VR. Google Earth VR, one of the most impressive VR apps ever, received a major update that integrates the Street View option into the app. This not only makes the view of different places more detailed, but also the immersion improves massively.
New update for the immersive tour of the world
Google Earth VR is an interesting VR experience that allows you to travel the entire world and explore exciting places. There are no limits to the user, thousands of roads from 85 countries are now available. We just have to approach a street and check with the controller if Street View is available. If so, we are in the middle of a 360° photo of the street.
In addition to the new feature, the update also included some minor improvements for faster launch of the program, as well as various tutorial improvements and an experimental option of height adjustment to human height. If you activate this new option, the app adapts the environment to your size.
Google Earth VR is available free of charge for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on Steam and the Oculus Store.
