Zurich startup Sensoryx has literally his hands in the game
Sensoryx, a promising Swiss company, has literally played their hands in the game. The VRfree gloves come without cables and are compatible with any standard VR system.
How often have you wanted to control your favorite game instead of using a controller with your hands or body? The Zurich Startup Sensoryx makes this dream come true. With its VRfree glove compatible with the most popular VR spectacles, gamers can bring their hands and fingers into play. The highlight is that the system is the only mobile device in the world, not only on Oculus and HTC Vive, but also on Daydream and GearVR. The reason: the system of the 4 developers doesn’t need stationary cameras to determine the position, everything being already integrated into the gloves and the eyeglass attachment.
The first demonstration video on Youtube show that the effort paid off.

For the realization of the gloves, the developers themselves faced great challenges: the millimeter-precise capture for the tracking and also the development of the algorithms to evaluate the data of the different sensors were only two of them.
The young entrepreneurs were particularly enthusiastic when they were selected to present their system in January 2018 at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
The startup plans the first sales via a kickstarter campaign in autumn 2017.
