Sony Reveals TGS 2017 Lineup and Schedule

Tokyo Game Show, the biggest annual consumer video games expo in Japan, begins on Thursday, September 21 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and runs through September 24, and will have many other games than just Sony’s own titles. Sony is scheduled to host its annual Tokyo Game Show pre-show press conference on Tuesday, 19th September at 9 o’clock in the morning.

According to the official Japanese PlayStation blog these are the games that will be at the show:

• Call of Duty: WWII (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
• Code Vein (Bandai Namco)
• Detroit: Become Human (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
• Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (Square Enix)
• Dragon Ball FighterZ (Bandai Namco)
• Dynasty Warriors 9 (Koei Tecmo)
• Earth Defense Force 5 (D3 Publisher)
• Gran Turismo Sport (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
• Itadaki Street Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary (Square Enix)
• Knack 2 (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
• Marvel. vs Capcom: Infinite (Capcom)
• Monster Hunter: World (Capcom)
• Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (Level-5)
• Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (Bandai Namco)
• Taiko Drum Master: Drum Session! (Bandai Namco)
• Yakuza: Kiwami 2 (Sega)

PlayStation VR fans can rest assured that Sony is still planning great new titles for the virtual reality headset. With more titles planned this fall for the headset, Sony is using this convention to sell gamers on the equipment. Sony has plans to bring the following PSVR games to TGS:

• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR (Bethesda Softworks)
• Gran Turismo Sport (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
• Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV (Square Enix)
• No Heroes Allowed! VR (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
• Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo – Shichiyou no Etude (Basic Game Pack) (Bandai Namco)

Sony will also be live streaming games such as Detroit: Become Human, Monster Hunter: World, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT, GT Sport, and Code Vein on their official YouTube channel.

The press conference of Sony will be held two days before the Tokyo Game Show on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 9 o’clock in the morning.

September 21st

While Sony is hoping for the Japanese audience at the Tokyo Game Show , the most important innovations for Western players are expected at the press conference on the Paris Games Week . It will take place on October 30th from 5pm.

Last, but not least, Sony Interactive Entertainment also announced three PlayStation Festival events, designed to bring a selection of the games showcased at Tokyo Game Show to major Japanese cities. The show will be in Sapporo on October 29th, in Fukuoka on November 5th, and in Osaka on November 11th.
