Project Cars 2 will be released on September 22, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

The release date for the hotly-anticipated race track Project Cars 2 was officially announced: the title will be released on Friday, September 22, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PS 4 Pro, Xbox One and PC with VR support for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

The project Cars 2 from Slightly Mad Studios allows the players to test their driving skills on various racetracks. Up to 180 different cars are available. Each of the different models has its own strengths and weaknesses, which is why not only the skill behind the steering wheel is crucial for a round victory.

Fight your way into the Hall of Fame, become a Factory Driver for 14 elite brands, rise through a real-world-based career, white-knuckle your way in epic GT, Formula, Endurance, Touring, and Rallycross championships in over 180 cars and more than 60 tracks.

The PlayStation version is available for $59.99. The Deluxe Edition is available for $89.99, and includes the Japanese Cars Bonus Pack containing 4 legendary racing machines from Nissan and Honda, plus unique racing liveries. The prices are the same for the Xbox versions at the Microsoft Store.

For PC owners, the racing simulation is available for $59.99 on Steam. Again, there is the option of pre-order the Deluxe Edition for $89.98.
